The artist behind Oniro Ceramics is Maria Navakoudi, a ceramic artist. She loves alternative ceramic firing techniques, but her greatest passion is creating functional objects. She is a graduate of the Vocational School of Ceramics and Pottery, as well as the Pilot Educational Program of the Center for Lifelong Learning at the University of Western Macedonia, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, aimed at developing skills related to handicrafts (2026), and she also holds a certification in Art Therapy.

Oniro Ceramics was founded out of a need to connect ceramics with the general public and the educational community, as well as with the goal of making ceramics accessible to anyone who needs it to relax and express themselves.
